Why Choose a Frameless Glass Railing?
Most railings put something between you and the view: a top rail at eye level when you’re seated, pickets every few inches, or a frame around each panel. A frameless glass railing removes all of that. What’s left is clear glass and a low post every few feet.
It also holds up. The posts are powder-coated extruded aluminum, so there’s nothing to rot, rust or repaint, and the glass is tempered or laminated safety glass.
Infinity System Specifications
The Infinity glass railing system is made from 2.5” x 2.5” extruded aluminum posts that are 24” tall and can accommodate a glass height of up to 42” tall. This system has a welded attachment that the glass rests on 3” from the ground with a faceplate that sandwiches the glass to the post. It is set up to accommodate 7/16” laminated glass or 1/2” tempered glass. The baseplate is 5” x 5”, 3/8” thick, and held down with four 6” wood lags or four concrete wedge bolts.
Posts are spaced up to 47 inches apart on a straight run. Standard colors are black, bronze and silver, with custom colors available for an added fee.

Because the glass sits just 3 inches above the surface, there’s very little gap at the bottom, which also helps keep leaves and small items from sliding off the edge.
